“ My uncle said the food here was good. I noticed the bright Monroe high school colors and that it looked like an old check cashing place. Bright lights inside/ large menu board/smelled like cleaning supplies. Cafeteria style seating inside. Every part of the chicken fried, also fried fish, burgers, chicken Alfredo and easy sides. Great prices and big portion. Everything fresh and hot. The fries are not anything special but they were abundant. I didn’t taste any signature lemon pepper on anything. Maybe the snapper had a little lemon pepper taste but not much. The two snapper combo were great price but fried too hard and were dry. I appreciate the large lemon slices. I asked for yellow rice-they gave me fries instead. The food didn’t take long and the servers were nice and helpful. The chicken was fried well but the taste wasn’t signature. We will turn into chickens eating all this bird. It would be nice to have some baked or blackened fish options, quality lettuce & veggie salad or other non-fried sides. The corn was basic. Gizzards were ok! Only had cheesecakes listed, no other desserts. Again great prices and portion sizes. ”
